In Corrie Ten Boom’s The Hiding Place, she has this very debate with her sister while they’re prisoners in a Nazi concentration camp. Corrie is at a loss to come up with any possible good from the lice that’s everywhere. It’s disgusting and painful and gross, on top of all the other horrible things around them. And then they find out that the reason they can read their hidden Bible at night out loud to other women is because the guards don’t want to cross the threshold of the building due to the—you guessed it—lice. Comfortable? Erm, no. Extremely hard? Yes. Used by God for a good purpose? Yes.
As a mom, I truly feel for you and shudder at the thought of lice in our home. Bless you for seeing the gift in your experience. And may Jesus protect you from ever having to go through that again. 🙂
Gam Zu L’Tovah 👏🏻
We didn’t need the fabrication of the nt, via the charlatan Paul, to tell us that 🙄😤

Love this perspective!
If the school was worth a damn it would have a lice screening program where there is a need.
Thank you for this!
