Just over a month ago, I gave birth to a very healthy 11 pound, 8 ounce baby BOY. I don’t know what shocked me more — his little boy parts when they turned him over so we could see what he was, or the numbers on the scale when they weighed him. I was expecting a 9.5 lb baby girl.
Wow, that is a ton to deal with! Glad The Boy is doing well. He looks like BIG boy in this photo. Yegads! So precious. Just take it one day at a time. Or one hour. Or the next five minutes. You'll make it!
January is a looong month - we were all ill at various points as well, though only for about 81 days out of the 87... And it's always tough. Wishing you lots of perseverance and strength and hope and joy!
And congratulations on your little boy! A lot of things will be different compared to the girls (beware the fountain! :-)), but it's all the more valuable - especially for his sisters :-)
Congratulations! Can I just say that your writing reflects so much of my thoughts in those early days of motherhood? Some days repeating 'this too shall pass' over and over is all that kept me sane lol! You are strong and you are doing great! Don't forget to be joyful!
You could roll that tree into Memorial day and then July 4 and it wouldn't make any difference. As long as your kids know you love them and you're trying your hardest that's the best you can do.
Congratulations! As a mom of four girls I can imagine your surprise! Blessings to all of you!

Enjoy them while they are still young.
If you didn't know what to do with a boy, how did you get pregnant?
Congratulations and best wishes , with so many women in his life he will be blessed , i have five sisters , enjoy his maleness !
