A few days ago, Cordelia had a friend over. She’d also been asking for several days prior to that to make Jello jigglers, because said friend had never had them before and she was dying to introduce them to her. How you get to be 15 without ever having Jello jigglers is a mystery for another day, but I was happy to oblige.
Have to say I rather thinks it's the male "one track mind". After many, many years I realized my husband does ONE thing, and ONLY ONE THING, at a time. No more, no less, So as long as he is on one thing that's about it whatever the "it" is. Good luck!
What a lovely story. Cordelia had the simplest and most obvious solution: "(you) should have put my name on it.”. Children have the ability to cut straight to the heart of the mater.
Jenny, you are awesome! Your kids and Justin are so lucky to have you as their Mom, healer, cook, maid, librarian, and partner. My mother worked full time after I was in the third grade. I learned a lot, though, how to do meal prep for family meals for when she and my Dad got home from work - and tried to keep my younger sisters entertained and out of trouble - as well as keeping the house reasonably together during the week. And when my folks got home, it was family time, and after we hit the sack, they did a lot of work around the place as well. Since it was a ranch, we all kept busy. So, yeah, I can really appreciate a full time stay at home Mom, because it is a lot of hard work!
Being a stay-at-home mom was the hardest job I’ve ever had! You are a wonderful mom, and you’re doing an amazing job.
Thanks for sharing! I love reading your posts. 💕

What is made of Jello that doesn't jiggle?
